Our expertise, your platform
At Schroders, asset management is our business and we manage around £397.1bn on behalf of clients from around the world.
More than 4,000 talented people work with us around the world. And right now, we’re looking for more to join our two-year apprenticeship programme here in London. If you’ve just finished school or college, and gained A-levels or BTECs, this could be your first step towards a fantastic career in the finance and global asset management sector.
Our programme, your stepping stone
Start earning. Keep learning. Our apprenticeship programme gives you the chance to do both. As a permanent, full-time employee, you’ll spend 20% of your time working towards your apprenticeship accreditation, and the rest with your team, doing a real job, and gaining practical experience in your chosen field. It’s a powerful combination that will propel your career forwards as you become a certified professional.
Opportunities are available in everything from Sales & Marketing to Risk & Compliance and from Finance & Tax to Technology, HR and Operations. Whichever path you choose, the training you receive will be specific to that particular area of the business and by getting involved with the everyday tasks and wide-ranging projects of your team, you’ll have the chance to hone those all-important core skills too.
Your abilities, our expectations
Plenty of ambition, bags of initative and an eagerness to learn. That’s what we’ll be looking for in you. Plus, of course, a demonstrable interest in the work we do. From a practical standpoint, you must have at least 96 UCAS points, and be at least 18 years old when the programme starts. But most important will be your proactive attitude. We can teach you all you need to know about the job but it’ll be your own enthusiasm and commitment that determine how fast you progress, and develop the skills you need for a bright future ahead.
Your application, our closing dates
When you apply, you’ll be asked to select the business area you want to be placed in. Each has its own apprenticeship standard and training programme, so it’s important to understand what they involve. You can find more about each of these business areas by pressing apply button below.
Applications close on 30 April 2017, and interviews will take place at our offices in London, between May and July 2017.Application closed
