Beginner's Course in Vectorworks

Course Summary:
This course is for complete beginners with NO experience of Vectorworks

This 5 week beginners course will introduce you to the best practices and approaches to working in Vectorworks.

Each 2.5 hour session will cover the following:

Session 1
Setting up a drawing - units, scale, paper, pens, palettes, saving and 2D CAD drawing tools - selection, line and text tool.

Session 2
Create 2D objects - rectangle, circle and polygon to form shapes.

Session 3
Use the following editing tools - cut, copy, paste. Duplicate array, mirror, rotate, move and send tools

Session 4
Create more complex objects using Add, Clip and Combine surfaces tool and the attributes tool

Session 5
Adding text and dimensions to drawings. Creating furniture layouts for a studio apartment.
