Business Admin Apprentice



  • Communication – Answer telephone, direct to relevant people, deal with accordingly
  • Manages reception, looks after visitors
  • Arrange Meetings by scheduling times, booking room, planning and issuing agendas, booking refreshments etc.
  • Manages correspondence by answering emails, sorting mail (manage outgoing post)
  • Interacts with directors and carry out their requests
  • Maintain accurate records for admin tasks, i.e. holiday requests
  • Review and check timesheets prior to submission for payment
  • Support with marketing, i.e. social media, mailshots, email marketing, blogs for website etc.
  • Handles expenses/billing cycles
  • Draft, format and print relevant documents
  • Maintain stock lists and orders office supplies as needed
  • Create agendas and take meeting notes
  • Assist in purchase orders and invoicing
  • Photocopy, scan and file appropriate documentation
  • Support with job allocation

Weekly wage: £174.00 - £308.00

Working week:  Monday to Friday – 8.30am until 5.00pm.

Total hours per week: 40.00

Expected duration: 2 years

Possible start date: 06 January 2020

Applicants must have English and maths GCSE’s or equivalent and basic I.T skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
