Job overview The purpose of the role is to: Administer multiple cycle training contracts & services Assist with the smooth running of our cycle training servicesField telephone calls and emails in a professional and positive manner Give support and assistance to the Head of TrainingMain responsibilities Complete office systemsMonitor supplies of stationery and equipmentOrganise and store paperwork, documents and computer-based informationMaintain records, spreadsheets and databasesOrganise incoming and outgoing postPhotocopying and printing various documents, sometimes on behalf of other colleaguesCycle training programme supportOffice supportLiaise between clients and the management teamKeep accurate records of all course paperwork and outcomesMaintain records and paperwork relating to training coursesAssist with monitoring client contract-related activities and assist with implementing ongoing changes to contract requirementsResolving problems where they occur, reporting promptly to the Head of TrainingCollect feedback and information on delivery performanceMaintain adequate levels of course resources i.e. certificates and badgesMaintaining and updating our website with training informationCommunicationsAct as the first point of contact for all enquiries from schoolsLiaise with clients and instructors to organise training courses using web-based bookings, email, telephone and face-to-face meetingsAnswer telephone calls and deal with emails to field enquiriesRequired qualitiesExperienceEssential:High proficiency with MS Office and basic internet applicationsExperience of working effectively within a teamDemonstration of administrative experienceDesirable: Familiarity of working in an office environmentCommunication skillsEssential:Excellent written and verbal communicatorExcellent inter-personal skills to liaise with colleagues, instructors, schools and clientsAbility to develop strong relationships, instilling confidence and leaving a positive impression on othersConfident to ask for help when requiredDiscreet and able to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive information Desirable: Ability to persuade and sell services to clientsOrganisational skillsEssential:Excellent personal organisation skillsCapable of administering multiple projectsAble to prioritise/meet deadlines as and when requiredAble to show initiativeAn ability to give attention to detail without losing the overall sense and objectives of required tasksDesirable: Familiarity with organising tasksOther considerationsEssential:Demonstrates a keen interest in business administrationCommitted to own learning and continuous improvementHighly motivated to make a differenceAble to maintain a positive outlookDesirable: An enthusiasm for cyclingDesired qualification Essential:GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent in English and MathsInterest and willingness to study and train through the apprenticeship frameworkWorking week9am - 5: 30pm, 5 days per week,37.5 hours per weekSalaryGBP 165 per weekBenefits / Future prospectsFuture progressionImportant InformationQA' s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency ( ESFA) , an executive agency of the Department for Education.To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area ( EEA)for the last 3 consecutive years.
