Our client are a modern, progressive law firm with Offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Their Central Services team, based in Edinburgh, is now seeking to recruit a Business Administrative Assistant.

We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our Partners and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities.

Support and provide additional cover on Reception and Switchboard, answering and directing phone calls.

Organise incoming and outgoing mail.Support the Banking function and providing additional cover.

Maintain filing systems including scanning and copying.

Collecting deliveries from the building Reception.

Making local deliveries of mail.

Maintain office supplies including CPD lunch items, when necessary.

Provide general support to visitors.

Act as a point of contact for internal and external clients.

Required Skills:

-  Proven customer service experience, not required but beneficial to have previous administrative assistant experience.

- Knowledge office equipment, like printers and copiers.

- Proficiency in MS Office.

- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise workload.

- Attention to detail and problem solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.

Additional Information:

Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

26 days holiday per year, including 7 public holidays.

Salary will increase to National living wage on completing of the apprenticeship.
