Working as a higher apprentice in our Supply Chain team you will be responsible for leading operational improvement initiatives within a busy distribution centre.
The role will involve engaging mangers and colleagues in understanding the operational process flows and capturing data to make improvement recommendations. When recommendations have been made you’ll need to lead on implementing them and ensuring they achieve the intended results, both in time, cost and process improvements.
You’ll also be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment. As a ‘Zero Harm’ organisation safety will need to be at the heart of everything you do. You’ll need to have a good understanding of safety and know when and where to obtain safety advice.

With our training and ongoing support you’ll not only learn the ropes but you’ll develop personally too;
Stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills
You’ll be able to deliver small and medium change initiatives in BT Supply Chain operations teams
You’ll be data obsessed - able to identify suitable changes and track benefits realisation.
Northallerton (North Yorkshire)
You’ll need to achieve (or be on course to achieve) two A-Levels with a minimum of CC grades. You’ll also need a minimum of four GCSEs at grades 4-9 (C or above) including English Language and Maths.Sign-up or log in to apply
