We are seeking a motivated and aspirational individual to kick start acareer in a Business Administration apprenticeship role, this apprenticeshipwill provide a great foundation for someone wanting to enter the world ofBusiness Support and the initial qualification will be Level 3: QCF Diploma inBusiness and Administration. As the Business Support Apprentice, you will be responsible forproviding proactive and customer focused administrative support as part of the BusinessSupport Team. Within this role you will be expected to be responsive to the needs ofthe business support function and those it supports across the organisation. Inaddition to providing responsive support, you will be assigned specific areasof responsibility which will include a range of duties including documentmanagement, support for events and visits as well as systems and databasemanagement.The successful candidate will be inspired to demonstrate and promotebehaviours in line with the Job Profile and our Behaviours Competency Frameworkas attached here. Specifically we are seeking individuals whowill provide excellent customer satisfaction to all RBFRS customers, resolveenquires quickly, courteously and with good attention to detail.The key focus of this roleis:· Totake responsibility for specified areas of administrative business support anddevelop and maintain an understanding of those areas, and any associatedsystems.· To supportthe organisation and successful delivery of specific projects, events andvisits as required.· Toundertake systems based work through data entry, data interrogation and dataassurance.· Todeal efficiently and courteously to all queries and correspondence both writtenand verbal from a wide range of internal and external customers and to promotea strong customer focus within the team and the organisation as a whole.
Key role requirements are:· Tohave the ability to develop positive relationships with a broad range ofindividuals, organisations and members of the public.· Tohave excellent self-management, planning and organisational skills to work onown initiative, make decisions to manage own workload, achieve deadlines andmeet customer requirements· Strong IT skills with theability to maintain spreadsheets and databases · Ability to co-ordinate andsuccessfully manage a wide range of tasks and the ability to work effectivelyas part of a team and demonstrate flexibility in approach to tasks
Qualifications Required: Five GCSE's A-C (or equivalent) including Maths and English, as well as two A levels (or equivalent)
