Capita Worksforme are delivering a four-week training programme working towards an Apprenticeship Infrastructure Technician role with a suitable employer. To be eligible for the programme, candidates must be:

  • Actively looking for the right opportunity to start your career
  • Wanting to improve your skills and find work
  • Aged between 16 and 24 years old
  • Unemployed with qualifications below the equivalent of two A levels
  • Looking for employment but with little or no work experience

An Infrastructure Technician Apprentice provides support to internal and external customers, helping them to be proactive when using technology to so their jobs. This involves setting people up on systems and providing support when they need it, helping to put right issues and contribute towards the organisation’s productivity. It also involves learning how to use tools to problem-solve and trouble-shoot non-routine problems

The Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship gives participants a working knowledge of:

• Cabling & Connectivity

• IT Maintenance

• Networking & maintaining a secure network

• Remotely operate and integrate mobile devices

• Cloud Services

• Disaster Recovery Plan

• Complying with Business Processes

• Understanding the difference between Coding & Logic
