Job description.
What will the trainee be
doing as part of their

Key Objectives:

• Support with the collection of retailer turnover, collate and

analyse footfall and retailer performance results and trends.

• Support the optimisation of retailer performance, working

alongside the Retail Relations Executive in managing retailer

participation in campaigns and events

• Maintain information for tenants and communications to

tenants. Including the Retailer App

• Understand and support the Guest Services & Reception

team to deliver great customer service, answer customer

queries and drive revenue.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Turnover Collection:

• Collect and collate monthly retailer turnover information.

Maximise collection results, promote the use of the retailer


• Work with the Retail Relations Executive to educate stores in

inputting figures and commentary on a monthly basis

Report Production:

• Prepare and distribute the weekly performance update

(Monday morning)

• Collate and distribute the weekly centre update report


• Collate and produce the monthly retailer turnover report

(see above)

• Prepare and produce information for presentations:-

• A monthly Return on investment report for

promotions and activities implemented with


• Feedback from retailers regarding centre operations

and activities


Centre Retailer Standards and Communications:

• Support the Retail Relations manager communicate

compliance with standards expectation in accordance with

centre leases, retailer handbook, shop design guidelines and

fit-out guide.

• Maintain and update all retailer listings on mall guides,

centre directories, internet, mobile website and App

• Prepare and distribute the monthly retailer newsletter

• Manage the sign up to the discount scheme via the app and



• Maintain a register of retailer contact details, email


• Maintain a database of retailer meetings/ conversations

Team Support:

• Work with other departments in the achievement of business

objectives, work collaboratively in forming and delivering

shared objectives

• Participate in team meetings, and support with producing


Risk Management:

• Conduct all work activities in accordance with the Centre

Health and Safety Manual

• Prepare and maintain risk assessments

• Raise any Health and Safety concerns to the attention of the

Risk Manager and General Manager

Normal working hours
at this employer site.

10am - 4pm

Tier 1 – 6 weeks
Tier 2 – 10-12 weeks
Tier 3 – 20 weeks
