A different way of learning

At Northumbria we’re very proud of our employability statistics. Our graduate are in such demand because they learn the real-life skills they need for the workplace.  Many of our lecturers are experienced professionals who have real insight into the industries they’re teaching you about. What’s more, they won’t just stand at the front of the room and talk to you; you’ll be taught using a mixture of seminars, workshops, and group projects.

Get started in your career

Many of the courses at Northumbria are accredited by professional bodies. These are the qualifications you’ll need if you want to move on to a professional or managerial career. Many Northumbria degrees offer a ‘Sandwich’ year – a year working in industry in between the second and final year of your degree. Northumbria has the connections to find you a job in the UK or overseas working the industry you want to be in. This means that by the time you graduate, you’ve already got a year’s work experience on your CV and, importantly, you’ve got those vital industry contacts to help you get on.
