We are currently recruiting for paralegal apprentices to join our Manchester, London & Guildford offices in August 2020 and complete a Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship, accredited by CILEX (The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives).

Annual Wage £: Competitive

Working Week (total hours plus shift pattern for an average week): 35hrs/week, Mon-Fri 9.30am – 5.30pm, inc. 1hr unpaid lunch

Main responsibilities:

  • Completing administrative duties as agreed by line manager
  • Receiving telephone calls, recording and passing on accurate messages
  • Designing and producing documents
  • Dealing with confidential information, filing, creating reports and files
  • Greet clients and demonstrate good customer service skills
  • Communicate effectively with people
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other employees
  • Supporting the running of projects, including events
  • Diary management and the organisation of meetings
  • Research information.
  • Filing and photocopying
  • Collecting information and files

You may also have the opportunity to get involved in the following:

  • Drafting witness evidence in support of litigated claims
  • Drafting advice reports to insurer clients
  • Instructing various medical experts
  • Instructing counsel (barristers)

Minimum Entry Qualifications:
