Why join a ScottishPower Apprenticeship Programme?

At ScottishPower, we are focused on playing our part - creating a cleaner, more affordable and more secure energy supply for the UK. But we can't do this unless we have the right people, with the right skills, at the right time and at the right place. So, with energy skills in high demand, we grow our own fresh talent and are delighted that we can offer exciting opportunities through the  ScottishPower Apprenticeship Programme.

Depending on your skills, preferences and our business needs, you €™ll join us in one of the following areas:

  • Fitters
  • Overhead Linespeople
  • Cable Jointers

On successful completion of the programme, it's likely that you'll be offered a role in Central Scotland areas -  Ayrshire, Edinburgh & Boarders, Glasgow, Lanarkshire & Dumfries.   From there, you'll enjoy further opportunities to progress your career and meet the needs of an ever-changing business.

If you're considering the apprenticeship, you should be ambitious and flexible, with the ability to work at heights and within confined spaces.
