Our electricity distribution network is one of the largest in the UK and serves 7.8 million customers across the Midlands, South Wales and the South West. The network is looked after by our 6,500-strong team of operational and support staff. Vital to our work are our craftspeople at the frontline who are highly trained and include:
Overhead Lines — work on overhead lines supported by wooden poles or steel towers.
Jointers — work on the underground cable network.
Fitters — work on switches and transformers in substation.

If you have or expect to receive:
- 5x GCSE passes at Grade C / Level 4 and above (must include Maths, English Language and a Science)
- Or a Level 3 recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering plus GCSE Maths and English Language of Grade C / Level 4 and above
