Who Are Vorboss?
We want Vorboss to be ‘the best job that someone ever had.’ When people join Vorboss, they become part of a tight knit team built on trust and respect. We help people identify their talents and support everyone to learn, grow, and advance.
Vorboss is building the next generation of fibre network to power one of the most important business hubs in the world. This is a responsibility that we take seriously; for most businesses, reliable broadband is as important as heat, electricity, and water. We want to completely change the how businesses connect in London (and beyond) and we’re on the hunt for dynamic, committed people to join us.
Who We Need
We’re looking for people who are great communicators, love working as part of a team, and take pride in what they do. Our teams are responsible for planning, building, and connecting a new fibre network across London.
You don’t need to have previous experience; you just need to be curious, ambitious, and excited to learn. You’ll start by learning how to connect buildings and businesses to our network at our team-based learning academy. Over four weeks, you and your cohort will undergo paid training to learn everything you need to know working safely and placing fibre in London’s streets, connecting buildings, and installing network equipment for our business clients. Vorboss supply everything you need, and you’ll receive a £150 support bursary to get you started on your journey.
Once you’ve graduated, you’ll be teamed up with experienced professionals to help you continue to learn and grow. Vorboss provides excellent career progression, based on your performance, career goals, and interests. Our greatest thrill is having people who began as our apprentices quickly rise up the ranks to lead their own teams. You’ll also have an opportunity to teach incoming trainees.
You’ll work in a dynamic range of environments: outdoors and indoors, underground and at heights. Our team has developed flexible schedules, which means we can help you balance work with other responsibilities. We will develop a work schedule that works best for you and our clients, which may include evening or night work, flexible start times, or shifting to weekend work.
We expect everyone on our team to work safely and respectfully, adhering to all legislative and customer quality requirements. We’re very focused on maintaining our excellent reputation so we want everything we do to make a good impression – from our conduct to the condition of our vehicles, equipment, and tools.
