About the role
At British Gas, you are our brand ambassadors. Your role as a Customer Service Advisor within our Debt Operation Team is vitally important to us. We are here for our customers 6 days a week, Monday to Friday 8am until 8pm, Saturday 8am-6pm and shift patterns reflect this.
On a day to day basis you will focus on providing the correct resolutions for our customers and the business through a mixture of inbound and outbound call handling. This means you will collect balances and provide solutions to ensure effective long term payment arrangements.
We have a range of customers and some are vulnerable. As their point of contact you will manage customer relationships with compassion and assist with their individual needs whilst delivering a world class customer service.
