Salary - Circa £41,000 depending on skills and experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Work Management Transformation Programme on a 9 month secondment as a Project Manager. The successful candidate will support the above programme, which sits within the wider Customer Experience Transformation Programme (CxTP), delivering business change projects across the business to agreed time, cost and quality whilst ensuring business ownership through the effective management of stakeholders. You will ensure effective management and control of risk, dependencies and delivery planning.

What will you be doing?

The Project Manager will be responsible for co-ordinating all aspects of the mobile work stream. This includes: replacement of Toughbook devices, delivery of a new mobile application and mapping system as well as the replacement of our adobe form solution.

Project delivery will be a large part of this position as you will be required to ensure the project stays on track and delivery is made on time and on budget. You will escalate to the Programme Manager appropriately any project risks and issues that cannot be controlled within the project.

Given the scope of the CxTP programme, identifying dependencies is key and the project manager will be responsible for tracking these through the project. The project manager should also work closely with the Change Manager to define project communication and ensure the business is aligned with the project deliverables.

What do you need?

The ideal candidate will have worked within a service organisation and have previous project management experience with good financial awareness. Ideally candidates will be educated to degree level and Prince2 is also desirable.

Your previous role will have required you to provide customer service orientation and to implement significant change whilst developing business and benefit bases.

Above all you will have strong communication and negotiation skills along with good time management skills and excellent commercial acumen.
