About You
* You must have or are predicted to gain Grade C/4 or above in GCSE English Language & Maths PLUS on of the following:
* 2 A-Levels - 1 must be in either Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Computing (Grade C or above)
or
* BTEC National Certificate Level 3 in IT, Computing, IT Systems & Development, IT (Software Development), IT (Business), ICT Systems & Principles or Computing (Software Engineering Stream) (Merit or Distinction)
or
* BTEC Diploma Level 3 in IT, Computing, IT Systems & Development, IT (Software Development), IT (Business), ICT Systems & Principles or Computing (Software Engineering Stream) (Merit or Distinction)
or
* HNC/HND in IT, Computing, IT Systems & Development, IT (Software Development), IT (Business), ICT Systems & Principles or Computing (Software Engineering Stream) (Pass, Merit or Distinction)
or
* Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Computing

Do you have an interest in solving technology problems, preventing cyber disasters and ultimately outwitting cyber-criminals? This programme will give you the skills, qualifications and technical know-how that is needed to stop cyber-crime, decrypt data and untangle malware. The services underpinning digital security are wide-ranging and so you could make your mark in:

The programme will allow you to develop your real world skills in information security with the combination of classroom training and on-the-job experiences in the above services.

Key Tasks and Areas of Work
You could be working in a variety of projects and/or real time roles, covering risk management, governance and compliance, incident management, technical design or relationship management etc. You will be expected to deliver successful outcomes from a selection of the above work areas and experience how we manage the cyber risk.
