Degree Apprenticeship 2018
 
After the success of the previous years, Fujitsu are looking to recruit young talent to join our Degree Apprenticeship Scheme this September based in either our Bracknell or Basingstoke offices.
 
The Fujitsu Degree Apprenticeship is a 4 year scheme, giving you the opportunity to earn whilst studying towards your BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions Degree with either Winchester University or BPP University.
 
Depending on which role and location you are recruited for, determines which University you study with.
 
Both course content is the same, the only difference is the type of delivery. Winchester University is day release to attend lectures at the University, whereas BPP University is delivered through a mix of live webinars, recorded lectures and online learning material.
Towards the end of your degree you will have a period of specialisation with a dissertation and project to complete at work linked to business requirements. Each module you study will match up to the business area within Fujitsu that you will be working in, ensuring you are receiving work-based learning that is relevant to your course.
 
This degree will prepare you for a wide range of IT Professional roles such as:  
  • Software Engineer
  • IT Consultant
  • IT Business Analyst
  • Cyber Security Analyst
  • Data Analyst
  • Network Engineer

Within Fujitsu you will receive lots of support to allow you to perform to the best of your ability in your role with us. You will be line managed and will also receive coaching and mentoring from employees within the business.

Application Requirements: 

  • 280 UCAS Points (or equivalent) (112 in new Tariff) 
  • Grade C/Level 4 or above in English and Math’s GCSE
  • Experience in or an interest in IT

Application Process:

  1. Online Application and CV – When you first apply to you will need to upload a copy of your up to date CV and complete some screening questions. There is no time limit on these questions so take your time –This is our first impression of you as a candidate so make them count!
  2. Video Interview – If you successfully pass the screening stage you will be invited to a strengths based video interview. Video interviews are a great way for us to get to you know you as a person, they may seem strange at first as there isn’t anyone at the other end but you get a practise question before you do the real thing!
  3. Assessment Centre – We will select the top scorers for the video interviews to invite to the assessment centre. The assessment centre will take place at our Fujitsu offices in Bracknell and you will participate in an Interview, Presentation and Group Tasks. Don’t be scared! – Assessment centres help us assess for the skills we are looking for in our Degree Apprentices such as teamwork, accountability, presentation skills etc and it's also a great chance for you to meet potential colleagues and really get a feel for Fujitsu.
