Have you ever considered a career in dental nursing? Become a dental nurse apprentice and you can:
Earn whilst you learn
Gain skills and experience
To progress to being a qualified dental nurse, you will study for a course in dental nursing, that is approved by the General Dental Council. Dental nurses are required to register with the GDC in order to practice.
A Dental Nurse supports the Dentist and dental team in all aspects of patient care, including
The preparation of the Dental Surgery, accurate record keeping and stock control.
The apprenticeship programme combines real workplace learning as well as classroom based theory, portfolio building and underpinning knowledge. The course is delivered one day per week at Warwickshire College and the remainder of the week is spent in the workplace, giving the candidates direct hands on chair side experience, whilst collecting a portfolio of evidence to prove competence against the criteria of occupational standards. Our dental nursing course provides candidates with a professional qualification and career pathway and access to post registration courses.
We currently have (as of July 2018) a large amount of Dental Nurse Vacancies open and ready to apply for!
