Job Description

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is looking to develop their career working for a leading IT-based service provider.

This opportunity includes providing deskside &remote support, providing support for moves &changes and installing hardware and software.


  • Install and update of software
  • Install of hardware
  • Image of PC, Laptops and Wyse terminals using SCCM
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Move kit
  • Ensure that internal processes are followedand that the serviceincidents are updated in an accurate and timely manner
  • Supporting the desktop environment serviced by ITO as incidents arise
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Setting up and configuring new hardware devices as the business required in line with priorities
  • Consistently providing a high level of customer service
  • Represent Civica at a customer level
  • Conduct investigations of operational problems, makes proposals for improvement and implements them when appropriate

Desired Requirements/Qualities

We are looking for someone who has the following:

  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with other teams
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work unsupervised once tasks have been allocated
  • UK Driving licence

The following is desirable:

  • Support of Windows 7, Windows 8 &8.1 operating system
  • Familiar with Dell Desktops, Laptops and other hardware
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Minimum of two years'experience in Service Delivery Environment

Desired Qualifications

  • 3 x GCSE ( or equivalent)at grades A-C in any subject
  • And GCSE English and Maths ( or equivalents)at grade D or above

Working week

9am - 5: 30pm, Monday - Friday
