You will learn the required Digital Finance skills including:

  • Use relevant software, including accounting software and common applications such as spreadsheets, word processing software and presentation software.
  • Understand, analyse and report data effectively using digital platforms.
  • Data Security and Protection.

Specific areas of responsibility:

Financial Areas

  • Maintain existing financial systems including petty cash, expenses, income and expenditure records, process all the payments through Cashflow and monthly bank reconciliation
  • Posting financial records to Xero - our accounting system
  • Work with the Finance Manager upgrading existing systems and processes in order to improve the efficiency
  • Assist in the preparation of management and annual accounts
  • Assist with the project financial related work as required

Administrative Areas

  • To liaise with all office contractors and service providers and ensure the efficient running of the office including IT systems and other equipment
  • To develop, implement and maintain office policies and procedures
  • To maintain, monitor and order all office and stationery supplies within agreed budgets
  • To book staff travel and accommodations for events, meetings and training where required

You will have the opportunity to learn Digital Skills to fulfil the requirements of the role. A Finance and Administration Associate is responsible to work with the Finance Manager in the recording, controlling and administration of financial data in addition to administrative works in the office.
