We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented photographer and media co-ordinator to document events and installations across the UK.You' ll be responsible for getting great photos and video of our giant screens in action and then managing that content for our sales team to use and to promote the company across the web.

Our giant screens are used at huge events such as the Great North Run, The Commonwealth Games and The Gumball Rally and installed at over 35 leading stadia across the UK.This is a dream job for any keen photographer to work at world leading events and locations in a young, growing marketing team.

We' re looking for someone with a well-rounded skillset that includes not only the creativity to capture stunning photos and videos, but the technical skills to utilise them to promote the company.

Apprenticeship job role:
This is a role covers both creation of and management of media with two main areas:

1)photography and filming of events and installations,

2)the management of this and other media for use in sales tools and various marketing materials, both printed and online.

The position is within the company' s Marketing Department, reporting to the Marketing Manager as well as to other members of the Marketing team.It will involve a mixture of working in an office environment combined with going all over the UK - and sometimes Europe - to photograph and film installations in sports and leisure locations, and major events, for example The London Marathon, Goodwood Festival of Speed and Leicester Square movie launches.

We are seeking someone who is both a keen photographer and also savvy to the latest web technologies and techniques as social media growth is a key part of this role.Ideally they should be comfortable using Adobe CC products such as Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere.

More specifically, the role includes:

  • In-house photographer
    • Assignments to include installations and events
    • Across Sports, Installs and Hire depts.
    • Also take video footage
  • Manage Media library
    • Ingest, sort, select, retouch, organise and issue photos
    • Choose best photos and issue emails to improve internal communications
    • Choose best photos for inclusion in product folders in server Sales Aides &Marketing Folder
    • Act as main point of contact for sourcing and distributing to staff
    • Investigate meta-tagging of all content for searching
    • Creation, encoding, ownership and distribution of video content
  • Management of media promotion
    • Handling youtube channel - content and promotion
    • Increase exposure through Twitter, LinkedIn Facebook and Google+
    • Generating fresh content for use - to include latest photos, news stories and - in the long run - blog posts
  • Other useful skills
    • Video editing in Adobe Premiere

The employee will be provided with company laptop with full Adobe Creative Cloud, mobile phone and necessary equipment ( DSLR, GoPro etc)

Qualifications required:
Ideally 5 GCSE Grades (C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English.

Training to be provided:
England - Digital Marketing Level 3 Apprenticeship - City &Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Digital Marketing

Apprenticeship duration:
12-14 months

Working week:
37.5 hours (Monday - Friday, 9: 00 - 5: 30)
