Early Years Apprenticeship – Abbey Ark – Bourne

The successful applicants will work in the nursery on a rota pattern with some starts at 7.30am to assist with breakfast club and early drop off, and working up to 6pm. This is a 40 hour per week contract, 51 weeks of the year. The pay will be based at a minimum of £3.90 per hour.

  • You will be expected to work as part of the Abbey Ark team throughout the year.
  • In Abbey Ark you would be required to support all aspects of the children’s care, learning throughout the day
  • We will offer you mentor support in the setting, excellent training opportunities and additional qualifications including first aid and food hygiene. An assessor from the College will support your learning throughout the apprenticeship.
  • The post is subject to safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Progression to Foundation Degree, L3 teaching assistant, full time employment.

L2 may progress to L3 Advanced Apprenticeship

Things to consider

There will be early starts: 7.30am, late finishes up to 6pm over 51 weeks of the year. You will work across Abbey Ark with children aged 2-4yrs.
