Hours - Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

During this 3 -year programme, we will help you to develop your practical skills and knowledge required for you to succeed in this role as well as your future career. Throughout this programme, you will continue to develop your behaviours such as team working, problem-solving and customer focus. Veolia as a business is not only interested in what you accomplish, but the manner you do it in.
As well as gaining a broad range of technical and professional experience, you’ll also gain academic and vocational qualifications such as Level 3 BTEC, Level 3 NVQ and IOSH awareness.
Carry out maintenance, fault finding and repairs on large industrial utility plants (electrical, mechanical and gas systems).
Decommissioning and recommissioning on a wide range of plants (including steam and hot water boilers, compressed air systems and water treatment plants) and BMS systems.
Carry out gas service works on a number of applications, including domestic boilers, LTHW boilers, burner servicing and service of biogas equipment.
Carry out duties in accordance with the Veolia Health and Safety policy and company operating procedures advocating the “think safe, work safe, home safe” approach at all times.
Interact with our clients to meet their needs and deliver excellent customer service delivery.
To be eligible for our Electrical and Gas Engineer Apprenticeship Programme you will need a passion for contemporary environmental issues, a team player, good IT and problem-solving skills. You will also need to meet our entry criteria:
