About the role

Finance is a broad term to describe a series of roles relevant to the accounts of a business. It often includes roles in accountancy, payments, billings, credit control, treasury and payroll.

As Landsec’s Finance Academy Trainee, you’ll spend time understanding all aspects of finance by learning the fundamentals of book keeping and accountancy. There will also be an opportunity to complete a rotation across the finance team to learn broader skills to help you manage reports for specific Landsec sites.


About Landsec Academy

The Landsec Academy is our trainee scheme which has been designed to support people who are interested in starting a career in property or embracing a career change. It comprises of:

  • A two-year programme, with the potential to move into a permanent role following completion
  • A relevant academic qualification, which is fully funded
  • Structured rotations across the wider business in teams such as: health, safety & security, sustainability and project management
  • Support from managers, a mentor and a buddy

We’ re looking to attract high calibre candidates who can demonstrate great potential, have a strong work ethic and are looking for a role that gives them real responsibility and career development as an alternative to going to university. 

 

Successful candidates should be confident self-starters, who are driven and motivated to deliver results. They’ll need to use initiative and be innovative when the need arises and demonstrate integrity and respect for others. Applicants should also be numerate and have good written and verbal communication skills. 

 

To be eligible you’ll need a minimum of 8 GCSEs.
