Vacancy full description: 

We require a business administration apprentice at our Pet Transportation centre in Chertsey, Surrey. This unique role will involve all aspects of business administration and will also include working independently or as part of a team whilst handling, caring for and organising the Physical Transportation of Customers Pets by Air. The role will also involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services whilst dealing with the day to day duties involving the caring and Transportation of customer’s pets by Air. Business administrators develop key skills and behaviours to support their own progression towards management responsibilities.

The responsibilities of the business administration apprentice role are to support and engage with different parts of the organisation and interact with internal or external customers. With a focus on adding value, the role of business administrator contributes to the efficiency of an organisation, through support of functional areas, working within a team and resolving issues as requested. The flexibility and responsiveness required allows the apprentice to develop a wide range of skills. This will include; IT, Documentation, records, planning, decision making and customer focus. An ability to work with Animals is a must as this is a varied role that will include the handling and caring of animals on a day to day basis along with administrative duties. A driving licence is also required as this position will also involve delivery and collection of animals, documents and customers around various locations of Heathrow Airport and the Surrey area.

Pay: £281.25-£318.75 per week
