Discover why change matters to us
The best bank for customers, we keep improving – changing processes, streamlining services, finding new ways to be efficient. What can we brush up here? What can fine-tune there? How can we deliver even better results? You’ll help us to answer questions like these as you learn that good project management is about making change happen.
Learn about project management
You’ll start by assisting on projects – some straightforward, others more complex – working in teams to plan, monitor, review and improve. You’ll learn about workstreams, project objectives, timings, budgets and risks – and about keeping costs down and quality up.
Get ready to change things
You’re an efficient organiser, communicator and planner – a stickler for detail. Just as important, you like making things run better so you’re always looking for smart ways to make improvements.
See how the training unfolds
This structured 24-month Higher Apprenticeship (Level 4) teaches you the basics of project management and leads to a nationally recognised Diploma of Project Management from the Association for Project Management (APM). We pay your salary and training, so you’ll be working, earning and learning while your Assessor monitors your progress and helps you shape your development plan.
Keep discovering new opportunities
Few financial services employers offer such a comprehensive apprenticeship in project management. Because we’re a leading UK banking group, we’re constantly running different projects, so the opportunities for you to progress are excellent.
Discover where the training can take you
By the end of the apprenticeship you’ll be equipped to project-manage smaller projects, and to play a role in larger project teams. You’ll have built up a network of contracts and got to know our business well enough to make your next career move here – we always need great project managers.
