The HND programme will provide you with a more advanced understanding of civil engineering. You will study key areas, such as contract procedures, project management and project research.
It is designed as a top-up from HNC Civil Engineering and enables you to study on a day-release.

The programme aims to provide you with a more advanced understanding of civil engineering. It is designed as a top-up from HNC Civil Engineering. It enables you to study on a day-release and evening mode to fit around your work commitments.
This programme is affiliated with the Institution for Civil Engineers (ICE) and is an internationally recognised qualification, by most employers, for people working towards Incorporated Engineer status.
Modules
Core Unit:
- Group Project.
Specialist Units:
- Further Mathematics for Construction
- Geotechnics & Soil Mechanics
- Advanced Structural Design.
Optional Unit:
- Alternative Methods of Construction.
Delivery
Monday: 9am-5pm

UCAS tariff points: 120
You will hold a Higher National Certificate in Civil Engineering.
