Hospitality Team Member - Kitchen Specialism Apprenticeship

Duties:
Working alongside the Kitchen Manager, you will be part of a small team responsible for ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly:
- Preparing and cooking food in a safe manner
- Ensuring that all food is stored at appropriate temperatures in line with legislation
- Being aware of service user requirements and responding to comments regarding the menu
- Preparing and serving food
- Minimising and correctly disposing waste
- Ensuring that any chemicals care correctly and safely stored
- Ensuring kitchen cleanliness is up to high standard
- Basic food preparation
- Maintaining kitchen organisation
Weekly wage: £180.00
Working week:
Opening hours:
Monday to Thursday: 09.00 - 17.00
Friday & Saturday: 09.00 - 19.00
Sunday: 10.00am - 15.00
You will be working 5 days out of 7 with 2 days off. 40 hours per week average, weekly hours can be between 35-40.
Total hours per week: 40.00
Expected duration: 18 months
Possible start date: 08 February 2021

- A genuine interest in the job role is important together with possessing flexible ‘can and will do’ attitude, in return training will be provided and there will be plenty of opportunities to learn and develop your skills
Desired qualifications:
- GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent qualifications in English and maths
