Human Resources Consultant / Partner Level 5
Human Resources (HR) in BT operates across all our lines of business and offers both specialist and generalist roles. This rotational apprenticeship programme will give you the opportunity to gain knowledge across a wide range of HR disciplines.
You’ll learn how to make informed recommendations about ways to improve business practices and you’ll develop an in-depth understanding of your responsibilities, including a thorough knowledge of key policies.
You’ll also have the opportunity to work towards a professionally recognised Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) qualification which will help you progress your career.
Training & Support
Throughout the course of your apprenticeship you’ll gain a wealth of invaluable experience. You’ll also be taught job specific skills such as relationship management, how to advise managers, how HR can contribute to business change, HR solution development and information analysis methods.
You’ll learn how to tailor business-centred advice to the interpretation and application of HR policies and processes, relevant employment law and how to work with the business to resolve challenging situations that result in escalation.
Key to showing your commitment to the profession will be starting your own personal development process. To do this you’ll need to keep up-to-date with business, HR, legal, policy and process changes. You’ll also consistently seek feedback from colleagues about your performance, then act on what you learn.
To join our Apprentice Human Resources Consultant / Partner Level 5 you’ll need to achieve two A-Levels with a minimum of CC grades. You’ll also need a minimum of four GCSEs at grades 4-9 (C or above) including English and Maths.
