ICT Modern Apprenticeship Level 3

What you'll be doing

This apprenticeship programme is designed both for new entrants to the IT & Telecoms sector, and to provide progression and reskilling routes for existing IT Professionals. Apprentices will work in a variety of areas including:

  • Software & Web Development

  • Technical Support

  • Telecommunications

You’ll also undertake the following qualifications to complete your Apprenticeship Framework:

  •  Level 3 Diploma in Professional Competence for IT & Telecoms Professionals 
  • Level 3 Certificate in ICT Systems Support 

Training & Support 

Throughout the course of your apprenticeship you’ll gain a wealth of invaluable experience. You’ll also be taught job specific skills such as IT security, how to securely operate across all platforms, your areas of responsibility in-line with organisational guidance and legislation, how to operate a range of mobile devices and securely add them to a network and how to effectively record, analyse and communicate data at the appropriate level.

You’ll also learn workflow management, how to deal with pressure and continue to progress and allocate tasks in accordance with the organisation’s reporting and quality systems, your health & safety responsibilities and how to optimise the performance of hardware, software and network systems and services in line with business requirements.

Entry Requirements

You will need to achieve (or be on course to achieve) a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grades 4 – 9 (GCSE C or above) including English and Maths.
