•This role is for an apprentice in the Remote Operations Centre Based in Hemel Hempstead in support of new business
•Full training will be provided for a successful candidate
•The role involves remote systems monitoring and taking appropriate action as a result of an alert or request
•Answer to end users via telephone. The call will be recorded within our service management tool set by the individual
•Maintain Operational and User procedures to ensure that Team Leader is informed of progress
Key activities in the early phase will be:
• Identify opportunities to standardise/automate routine activities
• Reporting – Standard Monthly Customer Reports
• Internal reports, reviewing targets vs service levels
• Quality – Health checks, Document Management, Audits
• Admin – Chasing reports and updates, reminding Service Managers to complete certain repeatable tasks, updates to Account Directory
Key Candidate Competencies:
Somebody who enjoys problem solving and would be happy to take ownership of issues will excel in this role. The successful candidate will work 12 hour shifts initially within office working hours, when competent this candidate will be trained in working night shifts as well as weekends. Training will be provided but somebody with a good IT grounding with an interest in technology is required.
