International Citizen Service(ICS) is a once-in-a-lifetime volunteering opportunity open to all 18-25 year olds, funded by the UK Government.

Over 18,000 young people  from the UK have taken part so far, don't miss out on this life changing experience.

ICS is a development programme that brings together young people from the UK and developing countries to volunteer in some of the poorest communities in Africa and Asia. Our volunteers work side-by-side with local volunteers in developing countries, staying with host families in the local community.

ICS works with projects and communities that have specifically asked for our help and where our volunteers can use their energy and skills to make a direct impact on reducing poverty. Our volunteers work across a range of programme themes such as:

Youth unemployment
Growing small businesses and entrepreneurship
Education
Health awareness raising
Climate change
Rewards
- All travel, vaccinations, expenses, insurance and accommodation are organised and paid for
- You'll live and work in local communities as part of a team made up of British and local volunteers
- You'll receive comprehensive training before you go and full in-country support from local staff

Requirements
- Ready to spend 10 - 12 weeks volunteering overseas.
- A UK, EU or EEA citizen, or have indefinite leave to remain in the UK, with a current UK address
