The Apprenticeship provides the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to lay great foundations for your IT career. The blended apprenticeship will give you a mixture of online studying and on-the-job training with your own personal Warburtons mentor.
This apprenticeship will equip you to become an IT professional and provide you with an in-depth knowledge of how the IT function is fundamental in driving the business forward.
Main roles and responsibilities:
- 1st and 2nd line support
- Ticket logging
- Manage requests
- Troubleshooting & resolution support
- Record outcomes
- Application support
- Identify and escalate more complex issue's internally for support
- Work with internal teams to grow experience and knowledge
- You'll have excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in an organised manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion to develop your IT skills
- Team player
Working week: 37.5 hours a week
Salary: £16,000 Per Annum
- 5 GCSE’s, grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you may be offered a permanent position in the IT department.
At the end of your Apprenticeship, you'll have achieved your Level 3 Infrastructure Technician ready for you to go into a permanent role in the IT department.
The apprenticeship is just the start of your career and can open the door to many more opportunities within the IT function.
