IT Customer Service:
With customer expectations becoming increasingly demanding in today’s service-led economy, the ability to respond with higher levels of service is integral to our continued success as one of the world’s leading digital transformation companies. As such, our 12-18-month programme is dedicated to teaching you what it takes to deliver first-class service every time, using a combination of technological and networking tools.
Through a combination of hands-on experience and off-site training, you’ll develop the knowledge, skills and confidence that will set you well on your way to becoming a successful IT Customer Service professional. So, if you’re a confident person with a passion for technology and strong interpersonal and communication skills, this programme is perfect for you.
- Being the first port of call for major UK companies and services, such as Ministry of Justice, Metropolitan Police Service and Government Insolvency Service
- Troubleshooting issues on the phone with end users and providing fixes or referring to 3rd line support teams
- Providing advice and guidance to callers where an issue is not relevant to IT support
- Delivering a high level of customer support to all users at all levels of seniority
- Raise tickets to relevant support teams for progression of end user faults and issues.
What you’ll cover:
We understand that quality Customer Service is about utilising a variety of skills and attributes, particularly when it comes to IT based Customer Service. So, while it’s essential that you develop an understanding of a customer’s needs and priorities, and the necessary skills to respond effectively to their queries and problems, we place particular focus on getting you familiar with our systems, technologies and, especially, the products and services that will help you successfully meet our customers’ demands. Additionally, you’ll spend quality time developing key transferrable soft skills, including communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
All in all, the programme will leave your confidently equipped to develop a successful career in IT Customer Services.
Qualifications you will achieve as part of your Customer Service Apprenticeship:
- Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship (England only)
- Customer Service SCQF Level 5 Apprenticeship (Scotland only)
Our standard entry requirements apply: five GCSEs / Scottish National 5’s or equivalent at grades 4-9 / A-C (including Maths and English).
