If you are hungry, self-motivated and looking to develop and grow into the IT market, this opportunity may be for you! In this role, you will provide support for the7 companies customers by analysing requirements, resolving incidents, providing knowledge and advice and supporting the internal systems.You will also be responsible in assisting with administration and internal support of the Company' s staff and related equipment. Tasks include end user support, customer support, software deployment, documenting, presenting and demonstrating technologies to customers as well as assisting in maintenance, upgrades and configurations of technologies used by the company.This opportunity will give individuals the chance to showcase their potential and also progress further in the company.Main responsibilities Provide support and resolve problems to the customer' s satisfactionMonitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT Service Desk and process first-in first-out based on priorityDiagnose and resolve technical issuesResearch questions using available information resourcesGain an understanding of the latest Microsoft technologiesPresent and demonstrate technologies to customersFollow standard Service Desk proceduresLog all Service Desk interactionsUtilize and maintain the Service Manager ( Service Desk system) Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attentionAssist with on boarding of new internal users and external customersSupport managing PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and softwareInstall, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and softwareRequired qualitiesPolite, punctual, friendlyGood communicatorLogical problem solverAttention to detailEager to learn new technologiesDesired qualification A minimum of 5 GCSEs - C and aboveWorking week9am - 5: 30pm, 5 days per week,37.5 hours per weekSalaryGBP 150 per weekBenefits / Future prospectsCompany progressionMicrosoft qualificationsTechnology exposuresImportant InformationQA' s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency ( ESFA) , an executive agency of the Department for Education.To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area ( EEA)for the last 3 consecutive years.
