IT Technician Apprentice
Potts Print UK is a high-quality commercial print manufacturer based in Cramlington, Northumberland. We are the largest sheet fed printing company in the North of England and a Carbon Balanced Printing Company.
Potts Technical Services Division is looking for a IT Technician Apprentice to join our ever-expanding team. This is a permanent, full-time, office-based position working 40 hours per week, 08.30-17.00, Monday-Friday from our HQ site. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the infrastructure, service and solutions, providing exceptional IT support to internal and external customers.
The IT team fulfils both the infrastructure and the development of IT within the company. Attending to breakdowns and software related questions is a daily requirement, but there are also project based software development tasks, currently using Python, to improve efficiencies and automate processes.
Having a good knowledge of Windows server/desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office packages along with Python and SQL would be beneficial, but not essential.

- Software/web development
- Data processing
- Anti-virus/cyber security

- 5 GCSE’s, grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
40hrs a week.
