Responsibilities of the Apprentice - In this role, you will be:
Working as part of a team
Providing end user support across our network of 11 offices
Using the following:
-Basic TCP/IP Networking
-PC/Laptop setup and configuration
-Printer Management, setup and configuration
[Training will be given however having familiarity and skills with the above is ideal]
Requirements of the Apprentice
You will ideally have:
Fantastic personal and language skills
A polite and professional attitude
Team player skills/able to work well is a team/be a great team player
5 standards ( Level 1 - 3)OR 5 National Level 5 grades, both qualifications including Maths and English
Training available for the Apprentice
Starts with a 12-14 month IT apprenticeship, which consists of training in small groups and work based assessment covering:Operating systems, Server administration, Customer support, Networking and Security.
You will gain a Diploma for Information Technology &Telecommunications Professionals SCQF Level 6 plus MCP in Windows 7/8 Configuration and Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1.
