At AstraZeneca, we put patients first and strive to meet their unmet needs worldwide. Working here means being entrepreneurial, thinking big and working together to make the impossible a reality. If you are swift to action, confident to lead, willing to collaborate, and curious about what science can do, then you’re our kind of person!
Where you start with us doesn't determine the course of your career. So many of our people develop themselves beyond their wildest imaginations, both in terms of their roles and the countries they've worked in.
AstraZeneca’s apprenticeship scheme offers you an opportunity to learn within a multi-national company gaining useable skills whilst collaborating alongside industry specialists and professionals.
Our Degree Level Apprenticeship Programme in Pharmaceutical Technology and Development (PT&D) offers an outstanding opportunity to study for a BSc (Hons) Degree in a relevant science subject with one of our key partner Universities. In PT&D, we are the bridge between forward-thinking science and innovative medicines that help millions of people. We work across the entire value chain, crafting and delivering active ingredients, formulations and devices required to provide new medicines; from supplies used in clinical trials, to developing the technology to ensure drugs can be scaled-up for commercial manufacture.
As an AstraZeneca Apprentice in PT&D you'll have an outstanding opportunity to learn within a multi-national company gaining valuable skills whilst working closely alongside industry specialists. The workplace experience acquired will ensure you develop the skills to provide good prospects for future scientific positions in AstraZeneca and the pharmaceutical industry in general.
You'll be supported throughout your apprenticeship, both in terms of your industrial and academic work, by mentors and managers committed to developing your full potential within AstraZeneca.
