HMRC are one of Fujitsu’s largest accounts and we are looking to bring in a brand new apprentice into the HMRC Account Based Marketing team.

The apprentice would work alongside the team based in Bracknell whilst studying towards their Level 3 Digital Marketer Apprenticeship with QA Apprenticeships.

This exciting apprenticeship is great for our new marketing talent and will cover modules such as; Business Principles, Security, Marketing Principles and Customer Strategies, Web Design and Concepts giving our apprentice a good base to develop into many roles within the Marketing space.

Our Apprenticeship Programme is a blend of different learning mechanisms. You will earn whilst you learn, undertaking a nationally recognised professional qualification as well as gaining job specific skills by working alongside experienced Fujitsu colleagues. In addition to this we provide you with a pastoral programme to aid in your all round personal development over the course of your apprenticeship.

Key responsibilities:

  • To input into the strategic planning process in the development, refinement and execution of the HMRC Account Based Marketing (ABM) plan
  • To enable execution of the ABM plan, owning some elements and projects within it and supporting on others
  • To understand and strive to utilise the social channels to increase awareness of Fujitsu’s capabilities, share knowledge, successes and positive stories to grow the following and contribute to improving Fujitsu’s perception
  • To work closely with HMRC account team to understand marketing requirements and support areas
  • To proactively look at opportunities to improve Fujitsu’s perception, sales engagement or senior relationships, make recommendations and work closely with the team to realise these
  • To promote successes outside of the HMRC community within the wider Fujitsu and support collaboration with the wider Public Sector and ABM marketing communities
  • To work closely with the account team to ensure consistency and professionalism in all of our external communications
  • To ensure collaboration and support requirements are met from the marketing supply chain
  • To measure and track metrics of activities in the ABM plan
  • Where appropriate, work closely with colleagues in Global Marketing to ensure the business benefits from cross collaboration on plans, activities and campaigns can be realised

What are we looking for?

  • 5 GCSE’s Grade A-C or equivalent including English and Maths
  • Some Marketing knowledge
  • Self-starter, able to work independently as well as part of the team
  • Eager to learn with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • 5 GCSE’s Grade A-C or equivalent including English and Maths
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (predominantly, PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
  • The ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of Fujitsu
