Do you want to make a difference?
Hundreds of people visit Rutland Water Park to enjoy time on our inland beach at Sykes Lane - we need you to protect them! Join us as a Lifeguard today and spend your summer outside.
What will you be doing?
As a Lifeguard at the beach, you'll take a vigilant approach and respond with urgency and efficiency to any swimmers and visitors in distress. As well as making sure our visitors have a great time, we want to ensure that everyone is safe when taking part in the activities.
Whether you already have your lifeguard qualification or are a strong swimmer that is interested in becoming fully trained, this is a fantastic opportunity that will enhance your skills.
What do you need?
In this crucial role, you'll be the first point of contact with customers so you'll need strong communication and social skills.
It's an advantage if you hold the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and/or the Open Water Lifeguard (OWL) Qualification and have previous experience in a similar outdoor environment, however, training can be provided - please see information below.
This is a seasonal opportunity and our beach is open from July - October (weather permitting!)
Spend your summer, helping the public, in a beautiful lake setting - apply today!
