You will report to the Office Manager, working for a small company in a busy industrial office. Your main duties are:
Answering the telephone, giving advice on courses available, maintaining registers, calling absent learners, booking in candidates for assessment, exams or interviews, sending out communications to customers, organising and supporting student interviews, completing paperwork as required, monitoring levels of materials and supplies, maintaining client data base, keeping accurate records, filing, photocopying, and general office house keeping.
CK is a successful plumbing and gas training centre. Courses are delivered in units in 2 separate industrial buildings on the same estate. At present there are 12 full time staff, there are also a number of contractors that work onsite. The buildings themselves are industrial, and the dress code is jeans or work clothes and uniform, rather than formal office wear.
