What will you be doing?
As a Mainlaying Designer, you will be responsible for providing support to the Development Service Water Mains Team in providing a comprehensive and seamless service to the customer requiring new water infrastructure on development sites. You will check and record all incoming applications for new mains, diversions and connections and design, cost and process scheme through to completion. You will work closely with the Programme Manager, Construction Support and Project Engineers.
What do you need?
To be successful within this role ideally you will have proven administration skills gained within a team environment. This will be backed up by GCSE level qualifications in English and Mathematics.
As this is a heavily analytical focused role, excellent analytical skills are paramount. A background in design would be advantages.
Strong IT skills are key and we are looking for experience in all Microsoft Office packages. Any experience you have of using SAP would be extremely beneficial.
