Manufacturing Apprentices

Right now, we’re busier than ever feeding the nation and making sure everyone is able to get the food they need. And if you join us as a Manufacturing Apprentice, you’ll be right at the heart of the action.

Our Manufacturing Apprenticeship offers a brilliant opportunity to find out what life is like inside a business that’s leading the way. Not to mention earning cash while you learn and study towards a recognised Level 2 Food and Drink Processing Apprenticeship qualification.

So, where better to develop your skills and springboard your career - all as part of an amazing team?

If you think you’ve got what it takes to join us as a Manufacturing Apprentice, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now.

We're recruiting Apprentices across all our Manufacturing sites. You can find out more about them by clicking through on the dropdown.

What will you do?

By the end of your Apprenticeship, we’ll expect you to be able to help keep our manufacturing site up and running. That means understanding everything from our Standard Operating Procedures to basic fault finding, improvement, cleaning, line yield optimisation, and recording and interpreting production data.

So, your first challenge will be to build your skills and develop your knowledge, and you’ll do that by learning on the job and working through a range of modules. It’s about spending time on our production lines, completing operational tasks, and handling, moving and packaging products safely and efficiently - and we’ll put you through your paces after 18 months with a final End Point Assessment.

When will it start?

Our Manufacturing Apprenticeship programme begins in January 2021 and lasts for 18 months including the End Point Assessment.

What qualification will you gain?

Join the programme and you’ll find yourself on an exciting journey towards a Level 2 Food and Drink Processing Apprenticeship programme. Through a series of modules and regular reviews and assessments, you’ll develop the skills and knowledge you need to be competent in all aspects of food safety. And you’ll gain a solid foundation on which you can build a long lasting career, too.
