An Apprenticeship with Martin-Baker is a great way to learn while you earn. You will receive technical training, an experienced mentor and a recognised qualification at the end.

University isn’t the only way to enter the workforce. By combining classroom study with on-the-job learning, our Apprenticeship Scheme provides a genuine alternative to university and a solid foundation for a career in engineering. Typically lasting four years, the scheme offers the training, guidance and support you need to develop valuable skills, earn sought-after qualifications and establish yourself in your chosen career

The successful apprentice will be selected to work in one of several Manufacturing departments, predominantly including the Machine Shop and Assembly areas, or Inspection Departments. There are rotations around the departments which aid the on the job learning, in addition to the 10 week foundation training at ATG Training and the day release over two years.

All our apprentices will get the opportunity to gain hands on practical experience working alongside some of the most experienced and knowledgeable people in our business. Apprentices in manufacturing experience a range of placements enabling them to learn the processes and skills that are essential for a career in Engineering.

Applicants must have 5 GCSEs (A*-C and/or 9-4) including English, Maths and Science.
