Following consultation with our international alumni and employers, we have developed this MBA to build and hone your broad management skills for delivering strategy and change within the complex landscape of modern business.
So you’ll consider your own role as manager and at how you lead people as well as develop a strategic awareness of the commercial environment in which you operate. The development and implementation of strategy and how you can sustain both yourself and the organisation you manage in the future are further themes you will explore. Within this framework you will study the key management functions, such as marketing, finance and HRM but in a way that shows how they relate to each other - with plenty of opportunities to apply your learning to your own workplace and learn from your fellow classmates.

You can complete this course at one of our study centres in Birmingham, Manchester or London, over two years with only one three-hour evening session a fortnight. As well as your fortnightly class, you’ll have access to our unique online learning platform. There, you will be able to reinforce your learning through a lively combination of discussion forums, guided group work, podcasts, narrated presentations and online lectures. 90% of our students work alongside their study and we have designed this course so that you can achieve your qualification without having to press pause on your life or career.

To be eligible for this course you must normally have either:
- A UK honours degree at a minimum of second class (2.2) or equivalent, plus 2 years suitable work experience.
For students whose prior learning was not taught in English:
- IELTS 6.5 or equivalent
If you don’t have academic qualifications
We are more than happy to consider, and positively encourage, an application from you if have substantial suitable work experience (typically 5 years senior level experience) and can show us that you have the motivation to study the programme. We’ll ask you for a personal statement that demonstrates your ability to study the course. We may also want references and evidence of relevant experiences.
