With cyber-crime keeping up with the rapid development of technology, there is a growing need for staff with cyber security specialists knowledge who know how to read and analyse data in order to protect business information and reputation from risks, threats and crises.
This programme will suit you if you are either in or wish to move into a role where you are responsible for the management and deployment of IT security, whilst developing relevant data handling skills that will assist you in making strategy driven decisions that benefit your business.
In this programme you will recognise the importance of data within the changing IT security landscape. You will consider the evolving field of technology and the security risks that come with it, learning how to approach the abundance of data available and understand how data can be manipulated to result in strategy driven decisions. You will also develop an understanding of how to communicate findings to others within your organisation.

To be eligible for this course you must normally have:
- A UK honours degree at a minimum of second class (2.2) or equivalent.
For students whose prior learning was not taught in English:
- IELTS 6.5 or equivalent
Please be aware that this course will require you to handle numbers. We recommend that you have a minimum of GCSE standard maths to succeed. Please speak to our admissions team for more information.
