Security management is becoming more and more important, with many organisations now employing specialists to protect their information and reputation from risks, threats and crises.
This programme will suit you if you are either in or wish to move into a role where you are responsible for the management and deployment of IT security, including infrastructure, policy making, governance and compliance.
In this programme you will consider the impact of the changing IT security landscape and focus on the design and establishment of prevention plans within your organisation. You will consider the evolving field of technology and its rapid development within the context of security risks.

When you sign up for one of our compressed blended courses and become a student at an Arden University study centre, you get the best of both worlds. All the structure and personal tuition of a full time degree, coupled with the rich online resources and materials that our online students benefit from. This option is ideal for students who want the routine of a full time campus-based degree, without the full time commitment. This course is available to study at one of our study centres in Birmingham, Manchester, Tower Hill, Holborn and Ealing.
So, what will it be like?
You will have just one 3-hour evening session in one of our study centres every fortnight.
These classes will be led by your module tutor.
During these sessions you will be encouraged to debate, discuss and ask questions to develop your understanding and acquire key skills.
Because it combines online learning you can access materials and resources online 24/7.
The online content includes tutorials, lessons, exercises, study support and chat forums.
All your coursework and assignments are uploaded to a secure online zone for marking.
You can contact a tutor or the support team via Skype, email, webchat or phone.
- A UK honours degree at a minimum of second class (2.2) or equivalent.
If you don’t have academic qualifications We are more than happy to consider, and positively encourage, an application from you if have substantial management experience (typically 5 years) and can show us that you have the motivation to study the programme.

If you have other postgraduate level business awards you may be eligible for entry and/or exemptions. This will be assessed on an individual basis.
