An exciting opportunity for a Full time, Nursery Practitioner to join our Tiny Tigers setting, which is a provision based in Mount Stuart Primary School in Cardiff.You will be required to work in partnership and as part of a larger team of 6 Flying Start settings across Cardiff on a term time contract.We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, caring nursery nurse with a true passion for childcare and has ideally a minimum of 1 years experience working in a nursery setting.Successful candidates will be given full support and extensive training opportunities to include mandatory fields and those relating to continual professional development, in addition to those reflecting good practice.

Some of the key duties of your role will involve
? Attend all training relevant to your role andapprenticeship
? Contribute to play activities in an indoor andoutdoor environment
? Ensure rooms are attractive and welcoming andcomply with Health and Safety requirements.
? Toileting duties
? Look upon the setting as a “whole” where yourhelp can most be utilised, be constantly aware of the needs of the children
? To be flexible within the working practices ofthe setting. Be prepared to help where needed, including undertaking certaindomestic jobs e.g. preparation of snack, cleaning duties, covering in otherrooms etc.
As you learn on the job you will be working to ensure you deliver flexible,high quality care that meets the needs of the young children and theirfamilies. Including adhering to compliance with all company policies, Healthand Safety legislation, Healthy Workplace, Healthy Pre-school, Dental Hygiene,Early Years Foundation Phase (EYFP) framework, and requirements as set withinthe national minimum standards (CSSIW).
The successful applicant must have a desire to work withchildren and have a caring, patient and understanding nature. You will need towork as part of a team and be flexible within your approach and working hours.You will need to be good at communicating and willing to liaise with parentsand members of the public on a daily basis.
