Job Description

This Construction company are looking for an office administrator apprentice for their office in central Edinburgh.With over 40 years of qualified construction experience, the business aims to provide a personal and professional service to each and every client and this role is pivotal in achieving this.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting directly into the office manager, the role will involve:

  • Day to day client engagement
  • Management of staff and sub contractors
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Preparation of quotes
  • Basic payroll
  • Basic HR
  • Invoicing
  • Other ad hoc tasks related to the smooth running of the business

Qualities/ Requirements

The ideal candidate should be:

  • Confident approach to tasks
  • Basic Microsoft office skills
  • Good communication skills
  • An aptitude for learning new skills
  • A strong customer service ethic

Qualification Requirements

Someone with 5 standards ( Level 1 - 3)OR 5 National Level 5 grades, both qualifications including Maths and English would be ideal

Other Important Information

Daily working hours:Mon to Fri , 9 am to 5.30pm, GBP 9,000 - GBP 12,000 depending on experience
